Seamless gutters, sized for the roof they’re draining

Five-inch is the default everywhere. On a big or steep roof it isn’t enough, and the overflow ends up in your fascia and your foundation.

Gutter work

Seamless installation

Five-inch and six-inch aluminum, formed on site so there are no seams to split. Colors matched to the trim.

Downspouts & drainage

Enough downspouts for the run, and extensions that put the water far enough from the foundation to matter.

Guards & cleaning

Guards where the tree cover justifies them. Straight cleaning where it doesn’t — cheaper, and often the right answer.

Gutter run and downspout on a finished roof

Why the six-inch conversation comes up

A lot of Howard County homes have steep roofs with long runs feeding a single downspout. In a heavy summer storm the water arrives faster than a five-inch gutter can carry it, so it sheets over the front edge. Give that a few years and it shows up as rotted fascia, stained siding, and water sitting against the foundation.

Six-inch gutters with three-by-four downspouts move roughly twice the volume. It isn’t always necessary. When we look at the roof, we’ll tell you which one you actually need.
